The position is for 26 hours per week, 10.30am – 3.30pm

Monday to Friday and 1 hour for weekly staff training attendance and is term time only with 5 teacher training days per academic year (39 weeks in total). 

The appointment will commence in September 2022 and will be fixed term until 31st August 2023 initially.

Long Lawford Primary School is a large 3 form entry primary school situated in the village of Long Lawford, Rugby. We are a happy, forward thinking school, passionate about ensuring all children have access to the highest quality education in a safe and stimulating environment.

Due to demand in the local area, we are expanding our Nursery provision.  We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking EYFS TA L3 or equivalent to join our fantastic team. The successful candidate will lead and support planned learning sessions within Nursery under the direction and guidance of the Nursery teacher and EYFS Leader and will provide other support in EYFS as necessary. The work will include leading sessions for groups and lunch sessions for pupils in Nursery.

We are looking for someone who:​​​​​​

  • Meets EYFS L3 TA standards or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Has a good understanding of how children learn and develop. 
  • Ideally has experience of working in a Nursery.
  • Is able to support the class teacher in meeting the needs of all children.
  • Is able to deliver programmes of work for focus groups of pupils under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Has a good working knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Have a good understanding of safeguarding.
  • Be professional and act with integrity
  • Is motivated, enthusiastic and adaptable.
  • Can show initiative and is able to work as part of a team.
  • Has excellent communication skills.
