School Business Manager - Newdale Primary School and Nursery
NJC SO2 (Scale 26 – 28) £30,984 - £32,798 per annum pro rata
Term time plus 1 week (PD Days)
Permanent position
37 hours per week

About The Role:
Newdale Primary School & Nursery is a two form entry school for children aged 2 -11 years old. We currently have 426 children on roll from Reception to year 6 and 104 children in Nursery. We are a friendly community school where children are encouraged to become confident, caring and articulate and to use their abilities to the full. We aim to provide a calm and happy atmosphere and set high standards of respect, courtesy, hard work and achievement for all children and adults.

The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational School Business Manager who shares our commitment, and values in learning in our forward thinking school. Major tasks include:
- Supporting the Headteacher in the organisation and management of support staff, service systems, policies and procedures
- Lead and manage staff in line with the management structure
- Comply with and assist with the development of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health & safety and security, confidentiality and data protection reporting any concerns to an appropriate person
- Contribute to the overall ethos, work and aims of the school
- Service and attend all governor meetings, issuing agendas and papers relevant, taking minutes and ensuring all governor documentation is correct and up to date
