GR4 £28,226 - £35,336

Full-time 36.50 hours per week

Birmingham Adult Education Service is the largest provider in England.

This is an exciting time for the service and its journey towards becoming an outstanding provider of adult and community education. Attracting and retaining high-calibre people is fundamental to our continued success.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, well-qualified, innovative and inspiring Programme Manager in Digital Skills who will be led by the Head of Faculty for Digital Skills and will work closely with a team of Programme Managers across all faculties to shape and create a vibrant digital skills curriculum offer that meets local need, while ensuring the experience of every learner is the best that it can be. 

You will have the opportunity to manage a team of specialist teachers, dedicated to achieving and sustaining high levels of learner satisfaction and delivering a fit for purpose adult learning curriculum that provides a high-quality learning experience for everyone, every day, both now and in the future. Work with all Faculties to embed Digital Skills across the curriculum. You will work in collaboration with the Digital Inclusion team (BCC) to support the objectives of the City’s Digital Inclusion Strategy.

The post holder should bring knowledge, experience and expertise of post 19 funding, strong track record of curriculum development and knowledge of Digital qualifications, planning and delivery.   You will be expected to lead and motivate your team and have a proven track record that demonstrates an ability to lead on continuous quality improvement.

If you are successful, an enhanced DBS check is required before you can start.
