HLTA for Early Years ( Maternity Cover) - John Randall Primary School and Nursery

37 hours per week - Monday to Friday 

Term time only plus one week

NJC Scale 5 £11.93 - £12.92 per hour depending upon experience

To start September 2022

The Governors are seeking to appoint a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant from September 2022 on a maternity leave contract, who has successful experience of working in an early years settings.  We are looking for someone who will demonstrate competency in the following three inter-related areas as set out in the Professional Standards for Higher Level Teaching Assistants:

• Professional values and practice
• Knowledge and understanding
• Teaching and Learning activities

The successful candidate will demonstrate a good knowledge of the expectations in literacy and numeracy and can work effectively as part of a team. Prospective candidates are strongly advised to visit the school to see the committed learning culture in action.
