Hales Valley Multi Academy Trust is a primary academy trust, based in Dudley, West Midlands. We currently consist of five very different primary schools, ensuring that our Trust is a diverse and exciting place to work and learn.

Office Manager – Vacancy Reference : HVT 0355 (Maternity Cover)

We are looking to appoint a highly effective, energetic, experienced school administrator who has the confidence and ability to be the key person in our busy school office.

Working at Priory Primary School in Dudley you will cover a period of maternity leave. The contract will be for up to 12 months. You will be appointed on Grade 6/7 (depending on experience), working pattern – please contact Rachel Dean – 01384 816778. FTE salary range £22,571 - £25,419.

As the School Office Manager, you will have responsibility for the day to day running of the School Office functions and line management of other office staff. You will work closely under the supervisor of the Headteacher and the Trusts Chief Operations Officer.

The successful candidate will be:

  • An enthusiastic and approachable team player with excellent people skills.
  • A positive and friendly ‘face of the school’.
  • A highly effective communicator, with the ability to develop effective relationships.
  • A bright, proactive, well-organised and committed individual with effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Experienced in dealing with all aspects of school administration, health and safety and estate management
  • Someone with solid IT skills including experience of all Microsoft Office products
