Apprentice Teaching Assistant (Level 3), Ref: TV28622
30 hours a week, term time only
Apprenticeship – 24 months   
Start date: 1^st September 2022        

Salary:  The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £4.81 an hour. Apprentices will be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over AFTER completing their first year. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that is part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Qualifications required: GCSE English and Mathematics Grade 9-4 (A-C) or equivalent Level 2 Functional Skills is desirable. A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is also desirable.

We are seeking to appoint a kind, caring, flexible and hardworking person to join our dedicated team of Teaching Assistants to support our pupils.  The successful candidate will provide classroom support and will have the opportunity to work alongside our well-structured and supportive staff to help all our children enjoy, learn and achieve success.  The ability to work as part of a team and under your own initiatives is important.  The successful candidate must be patient, calm and flexible in their working practices.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post.  Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils. The successful applicant will therefore be in possession of an Enhanced DBS certificate.
