Positive Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant (PBS)
Permanent Contract
Salary range scale 4:  From £10.60 per hour to £11.47 per hour
32.5 hours per week for Term Time plus 5 PD days

As part of the Academy’s new career pathway, we are seeking to appoint a Positive Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant (PBS). The PBS will be a listener, facilitator for learning, encourager, motivator and role model. Committed to working with a range of pupils, giving priority to those who need help most, especially children with challenging behaviour and educational needs. 

What is the purpose of the role:
The purpose of this role is to provide a complimentary service to teachers and other staff, addressing the needs of children who require assistance in overcoming barriers to learning in order to achieve their full potential, or accessing the curriculum.
