Job Details

The Youth Service aims to provide opportunities for personal learning and development for young people in Sandwell.  The service is made up of Centre-Based, Detached, Youth Voice and Targeted Youth Work Teams working across the six towns in Sandwell.

We are looking for a Youth Worker who can meet the needs and aspirations of young people and deliver high quality Youth Work.

The successful applicant will plan and deliver services and activities, within a centre-based, detached, SEND, outdoor education, youth arts or targeted youth work setting.

The role relates to general youth work posts but we are particularly interested in people who have some knowledge, skills or experience of music production who could work with young people in our recording studio.  In addition we’re also looking for someone with some experience in outdoor education who could help us deliver adventurous activities at our Outdoor Education Centre.

You must possess a level 2 Youth Work qualification or have a willingness to work towards completion of this as soon as available within the service.

6 hours per week
