Children Social Work Services Team Manager (37 hours) – Looked After Children’s Team.

The Role: 

If you are a dedicated and creative experienced social worker or existing team manager looking to make a difference, develop your career and improve the lives of children and young people, then we are interested in hearing from you.

We are looking for candidates who will keep relentless focus on positive outcomes for our children and young people. You will lead, manage and inspire a small team of Looked after children’s social workers and be supported by dedicated administrative support.  Supporting you in the management of ASYEs and staff performance and development are a team of advanced social work practitioners.  We also have a strong permanent experienced senior management team to support you in your role as Team Manager.

We have a Team Manager position available in the Through Care Service with Looked After Children.

The Service

Our service is operating as good and looking forward to the forthcoming ILACS inspection where we can demonstrate the strength and development of the service. We have a  commitment to ensuring that we have the right capacity, capability and environment for our workforce and to achieving outcomes for children and young people we work with. Our revised operating model sees smaller teams enabling increased managerial oversight and support to social workers.

Ofsted inspection and Social Work Health Checks have reported a positive morale and confidence in management vision and leadership of the services.
