The Role
Team Support Officer - Adult Safeguarding
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Support Officer for the Adult Safeguarding Adults Team. The role covers a range of support functions essential to the operation of the team. These include having direct contact via phone with service users and their families, assisting with the workflow of assessments and support planning within the team, some diary management, taking minutes at team meetings, production of correspondence and various other general admin functions. Much of the information handled by the Team Support Officer is confidential and of a highly sensitive nature so the candidates should have a good understanding of the principles and practice of data protection. The Safeguarding Adults team deals with some of the most vulnerable people in our care therefore candidates should be aware that the potential content for some professionals’ discussions may be upsetting.
Candidates should have experience of working in a busy office, good computer skills and a good phone manner.
