Location: Worcester

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Job reference number: REC#33452
Salary: £31,026 - £33,426 per annum

The role:

Worcestershire County Council has a long standing and sector leading supported living program.
An exciting opportunity for a housing project officer initially based within the new Pathway Planning Team has become available. WCC are hoping to expand our offer of supported living offer across the county for those with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health conditions and this post will be key in achieving this vision.

The candidate will have experience and knowledge of the supported living sector and hold a relevant qualification in housing, social care, or health. As this is based within a social work team understanding of adult social care and the relevant legislation would be beneficial.

You will have the ability to monitor and evaluate projects, work on your own initiative, write reports and communicate effectively with a wide variety of stake holders.  The successful person will have knowledge of the commissioning cycle and relevant funding streams as well as the ability to work in partnership with social workers, commissioners, care providers and registered housing providers. This is a unique opportunity to be an integral part of a new team in a well-established service area.

If you would like to discuss this further, please contact Adam Jones, Commissioning Manager ajones11@worcestershire.gov.uk
