Advanced Social Worker Practitioner

This is a great opportunity for the right person to be part of an exciting transformation of the new Front Door Service for the Peoples Directorate. You will be able to maintain your social work practice, expand your experience in a new innovative and developing area while enhancing your social work experience. This post is critical to both Adults Early Help and Intervention through to Adult Social Care and will be leading on ensuring robust pathways are introduced and embedded. You will work as part of a new team and service but will provide the relevant social care expertise. There will be professional support given to ensure you are able to maintain your social work practice standards.

Salary:  £38,553 - £39,571 per annum
Hours:   37 Hours
Location: County Hall, Worcester
Contract Type: Fixed Term Two Years (with possible extension)

 

About the role:

  • To operate as an Advanced Professional, taking a lead role in Safeguarding and effective decision making at the Front Door ensuring the right level of support is identified
  • To provide a consultative role within the team based on developing skill, experience and expertise
  • To provide day to day advice and guidance to the Here2Help team ensuring robust decision-making processes take place evidencing management oversight and grip of the service
  • To undertake quality and assurance monitoring and audits on a monthly basis
  • To increase confidence and skills within the workforce by embedding nurturing and reflective working practices and cultures
  • To ensure the service meets future requirements for any Social Care Reform
