Sixth Form Learning Coach

Ashlawn School wishes to appoint a Sixth Form learning coach to work with Sixth Form students in the study hub guiding and supporting their independent study.  This includes working with groups and individuals, supporting their learning and enabling them to transition effectively between main school and Sixth Form studies. This role will play a key part in supporting student engagement, attainment and achievement and attitudes to learning and education.

The post is very rewarding and is ideal for people who have experience in working with young people.


Job Specifics:

Start Date:                   September 2022

Salary:                        NJC17 (£24,920.00 fte) - NJC22 (£27,514.00 fte)


                                    Pro rata salary £21,147.80 - £23,349.14

Hours:                         37 hours per week

Working weeks:           Term time plus 7 teacher training days

Contract:                      Permanent

Closing Date:               Frdiday 12th August 2022

Interviews:                   Wednesday 17th August 2022
