TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 

POSITION – 27.5 HOURS a week, term time only plus 5 Teacher Days (39 weeks total) plus 3 sessions per week as Midday Supervisor.

Fixed term initially for 12 months, with potential to extend or make permanent.

The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work at Snitterfield Primary School. The post is as a Teaching Assistant to support learning for children across Key Stage 1. We can offer happy and keen learners and a great team of experienced and hard-working staff. Key Skills:

  • Experience of working with children with a range of learning needs, and being able to tailor learning tasks and resources to enable all children to achieve
  • Willingness to work in a team with other staff to develop excellent provision
  • Able to understand how to use assessment to inform next steps
  • The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to interact with children kindly, enthusiastically, creatively and flexibly to overcome barriers to learning.
