Teaching Assistant Apprentice - All Saints
Working week:
30 hours per week, term time only
Expected duration of apprenticeship:18 months

We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual who has an interest in working in primary education (ages 3-11 years). We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils within our vision "to learn and grow together to be the best that we can be".
What will the apprentice be doing?
- Support positive behaviour within lessons and throughout school
- Have the confidence and competence to lead small groups of children during lessons, in small groups and at break and lunchtimes
- Promote the welfare of children and to follow the child protection procedures adopted in the safeguarding policy
- Promote equal opportunities in all aspects of school life
- Support pupils in intervention and catch up groups

Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
End-Point Assessment (EPA)
This training programme focuses on developing classroom delivery and work within schools.
The qualification aims to grow your existing skillset in the following key areas:
- Increased mastery of the critical stages of child and adolescent development
- Enhance understanding of the types of influences that can affect this development
- Become fully adept in supporting teachers with the planning of activities, as well as creating own activity plans
- Evaluation of personal performance in relation to supporting literacy, numeracy, and ICT
- Amplify knowledge of safeguarding, and emergency procedures
- Understand legislation with regard to confidentiality, data protection, and information sharing
