Social Care Worker
Salary: £22,183 – £24,491
Location: Redditch
Hours: 37
Contract: Permanent
The Adult Social Care Team supporting the area of Redditch are looking to recruit a Social Care Worker to join their busy and supportive team.
About us:
The Redditch Area Team are a very experienced and dynamic group working across adult user groups in the local community of Redditch. The focus of the role is to ensure good communication with users of the service and to ensure that you do all that you can to identify the type of support required and to also plan that support with users.
The focus of the team is ensuring that we are always building on peoples own strengths and exploring creative and innovative ways to help find the solutions.
We work in close proximity with other partner organisations, and you will be required to work effectively across a range of organisations in terms of planning and advocating.
About you:
As a Social Care Worker, you will have experience of working in adult social care. You will need to have the confidence to advocate for our clients and work in partnership with health colleagues, other statutory partners, and voluntary sector providers.
As a practitioner you will need to have the ability to be creative, innovative and search for creative solutions that are not always obvious. In Worcestershire we have adopted the 3 Conversation model of practice which involves a strength-based and person-centred approach to working with people.
We are a very friendly team and supportive of each other. This includes regular tea, coffee and cake breaks! We meet regularly as a team for reflective practice, and you will have 1:1 supervision monthly with your line manager.
There will be opportunity for further development and progression in this role.
