We are a Humanities Specialist College which became an all through school in September 2012. This is an exciting time to join Waverley Education Foundation. We have landmark buildings that provide everyone with state of the art facilities for learning, teaching and training. As part of the exciting growth plans for Waverley Education Foundation, we are expanding our team to meet future requirements. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Cover Supervisor to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience of liaising with teaching staff to discuss work set during staff absence, arranging cover using SIMS, supervising students during short term absences, organising the return of completed work to students, assisting with the organisation and production of curriculum materials, assisting with the presentation of display work within curriculum areas, and assisting with general administrative tasks. You will also need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to forge strong working relationships within the school. Experience of working in both primary and secondary schools would be an advantage, but not essential. All applicants must be qualified to degree level and must also have a good general standard of education – A* - C in English & Maths.
Please note Cover Is arranged first thing in the morning therefore you may be required to start work 7.00am. on certain days as agreed by your line manager.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
