About the Trust

Based in Stone, Staffordshire, The Key Educational Trust serves 3 academies and is part of the wider Stone School Partnership.

Our schools vary in size from 559 children in the largest to 81 in the smallest and cover a wide age range: Reception (age 3-4yrs) to Year 8 (age 12-13yrs). All are currently Church of England schools.

 

The Trust is looking to grow the Trust and is currently looking to collaborate with other schools in the region with a view to them joining the Trust.  To ensure the Trust has sufficient capacity to deliver the growth agenda we are looking to increase the capacity of the centralised Trust finance team on a temporary basis.

The role

The Key Educational Trust is seeking to appoint a temporary Finance Manager for twelve months from September 2022.  The hours of work are 22.2 hours per week and can be worked over three days.  The role is term time only and will be based at Christ Church Academy in Stone, Staffordshire.

The post holder will support the Trust Business Manager in the delivery of financial management and financial administration services across the Trust.  They will be supporting the schools across the Trust in all financial matters ensuring the day-to-day financial activities are run with efficiency and probity.

The post holder will be working alongside a small Trust finance team.

The successful candidate

The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified with several years’ experience in a similar office environment at a senior level.  We are seeking a self-motivated and driven individual who will be able to make an immediate impact with the team. 

The role may involve travel between Trust sites around Stone and surrounding areas
