Synergy System Officer
Warwickshire County Council, Education Services is looking to appoint a Synergy System Officer on a fixed-term basis to March 2024. The System Officer role will specifically focus on supporting the maintenance of the ‘Synergy’ education database as part of the Synergy Delivery Unit.
This post will play an active role within the team to ensure the records in the system are kept up to date and accurate in support of our vision to enable high quality service provision. This will include assisting our Children Missing Education (CME) service with initial investigations into children who are missing education and using advanced tools to import and corroborate data from multiple sources.
You will work collaboratively with your team to meet the outcomes of the service delivery plan over the course of this assignment. The person appointed will develop and maintain good working relationships with our range of key stakeholders to maintain effective application of the Synergy system and provision of high-quality data to all Synergy users.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and abilities:
- Data administration experience
- Experience of handling confidential information
- Experience of providing information and advice including the ability to communicate sensitive information with varied audiences
- The ability to liaise with internal and external colleagues and partners with initiative
- The ability to organise own workload effectively and decide priorities
- The ability to assist with system testing as required
