The Role

An excellent opportunity has become available for an ICT Installations and Support Officer within the Operations team. You must have excellent technical and communication skills, with current experience of configuring, installing, and supporting a range of hardware and software in a large technological enterprise environment.

Purpose of job is Development, installation, configuration, deployment, relocation and support of ICT equipment and software for the Council. Providing professional ICT support and advice to customers and ICT colleagues. Assisting in ensuring that adequate stock levels of ICT devices are maintained. Provide technical input in relation to the purchase of new ICT equipment and the recycling and decommission of end-of-life, surplus or redundant IT equipment. 

There will be on the job training and opportunities to attend training courses and to work on projects.
