Job Details

The Enterprise Team at East Staffordshire Borough Council is looking to appoint a part time Business Development Officer. This role comes at an exciting time for East Staffordshire Borough Council within the context of the Levelling up Fund, Towns Fund and UK Shared Prosperity fund agendas which the Enterprise Team are leading on. We are delighted to be looking to a recruit a Business Development Officer to our small but growing team which is at the forefront of Government Priorities.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the team and will play an important role in supporting the Levelling up fund, Towns Fund and UK Shared Prosperity fund agendas. This role involves an ability to think and work on your own initiative and have an entrepreneurial spirit. You will work closely with local businesses to encourage them to apply for the council’s Business Springboard Boost scheme and help them through the process. You will also work closely with members of the Business Springboard Boost panel, officers from the Local Enterprise Partnerships and other key partners. Hours of work are 22 hours per week.

This post is offered on a fixed term contract to 31st March 2023.

Interviews will be held on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th September.
