Service Manager - Adoption and Fostering
Dudley MBC has a strong commitment to achieving excellent outcomes for Children in Care and Care Leavers, we are seeking to appoint experienced managers to lead in the delivery of high quality services to our children, young people and families.
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: Grade 14 (£48,705 - £51,981)
Location: Mary Steven's Park, Stourbridge
You will be expected as part of the senior management leadership team to drive and contribute to the strategic direction for Children’s Social Services. You must have experience of operational management within a children and families social work setting and able to engage effectively with our communities and staff.
You will have an understanding of the implications of the changing legislative and policy framework for Children’s Services and as an innovative leader you will be able to build strong cohesive partnerships and achieve positive improvements to the lives of vulnerable children and their families.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Dudley as part of it’s journey through organisational change.
You will need to have a recognised qualification in Social Work and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
