We’re looking to hire a Civil Enforcement Officer. They’re the eyes and ears of the local community, patrolling across Wyre Forest District, keeping traffic moving and people safe, providing advice to residents, businesses and visitors.
Civil Enforcement officers tackle environmental crimes and unlawful parking as well as educating and raising awareness of enforcement issues. Your day will be spent mostly outside, in all weathers and you will be dealing with members of the public face to face. This means you must enjoy customer service, and up to dealing with difficult situations.
Basic computing skills would be an advantage, as you will be using a hand held device.
A full driving licence is essential.
Any 4 & 5 day working patterns apply from any 7 days Special working arrangements for Bank Holidays and Christmas Working applies.
This job includes duties that may require a substantial amount of physical effort and mobility on a frequent basis.
Flexible approach to working hours, able to work outside normal office hours if necessary, including a requirement to be available for evening meetings.
