About The Roles

Position 1: 2 Teaching Assistant - TA2 - Permanent Position – 16 hours (variable hours contract) Term time only

We are looking to appoint outstanding individuals to meet the needs of all learners. The ability and willingness to work within a classroom with the whole class, individuals and small groups on targeted and specific individualised interventions, to administer online assessments as well as work collaboratively in a busy school is essential. The successful applicant will:

• Have a TA2 qualification or equivalent
• Have previous experience of working as a TA within a classroom
• Have good organisational skills.
• Be kind, patient and understanding
• Be able to respect confidentiality at all times
• Show initiative
• Be flexible and adaptable
• Have a creative approach to the curriculum and the commitment to provide first class child support.

Position 2: 2 Lunchtime Supervisor – Grade 1 Scale Point 6 - 9 - Permanent position – 6 hours 15 minutes term time only.

Hours of work will be: Monday – Friday, 11.45a.m. – 1.00p.m. or 12.15 – 1.30pm

The role will involve working as part of a friendly and flexible team supervising children during their midday break. We are looking for somebody who is enthusiastic, kind, adaptable and is able and willing to be proactive about the dynamic needs of working in a busy school.
