Contract: Temporary fixed term until Friday 21st July 2023
Hours: 17 hours per week - Monday: 7.45am – 4.45pm and Tuesday: 8.50am – 6.00pm
Weeks per Year: Term time only

Damson Wood Nursery and Infant School Academy, including Woodies Childcare, is a welcoming, child-centred setting, which is currently in a period of growth. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly-motivated and caring practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team to care for our growing number of children attending Woodies Childcare in the day time and our Before & After School Club.
This role involves developing and delivering high-quality inclusive learning opportunities and play for children between the ages of 2 and 7 years, including those with additional needs. You will support the provision by planning and delivering activities in an exciting, nurturing environment. Building effective relationships with parents and carers, as well as children and colleagues, is essential.
This position would suit a newly-qualified or experienced practitioner who is creative, enthusiastic and has a passion for supporting children’s early development.
NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent is essential for this role.
