The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Public Health team, working with partners across the Integrated Care System to improve the health of those who live and work in Worcestershire. 

Public Health is responsible for addressing the overall health needs of the local population. This includes health protection and responding to major health threats, promoting health and wellbeing, and tackling health inequalities. We are looking for someone to provide senior secretarial support to the Director of Public Health, and to coordinate and develop the provision of administrative services to the wider Public Health team. 

The role requires an experienced PA or administrative manager, able to demonstrate excellent communication, time management and prioritisation skills. They will primarily support the Director of Public Health with complex diary and email management, scheduling and servicing meetings, and be responsible for minute taking and action tracking. Excellent stakeholder management is essential, with the role acting as a key point of contact, frequently liaising with senior internal executives, councillors and external partners. They will work with a team to deliver efficient and effective administrative support to the whole Public Health directorate.
