About us and the role

 

Following a recent departmental reorganisation, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Warwickshire County Council’s Schools ICT service, as an ICT Procurement Officer. 

 

The Schools ICT service is fully traded, operating under the Warwickshire Education Services banner, and provides a broad range of IT services to over 200 schools across Warwickshire and beyond. 

 

The successful candidate will work as part of small team, delivering ICT Procurement services to schools. 

 

The role involves responding to ICT Procurement requests for a range of ICT equipment, from desktop devices to wireless networking. Full training will be provided. 

 

You will possess good communication and organisational skills.  You will also have strong literacy and numeracy skills.  Previous experience of procuring ICT equipment would be an advantage.  

 

We are based in Warwick and operate in an agile, flexible, modern working environment so there will be some flexibility on the working hours each week.  Home working can also be utilised, around the needs of the business.
