Wyre Forest District Council are working hard to support people post pandemic and to help prevent homelessness.
We are now looking for an officer who can help in this vital activity.
The post holder should enjoy working with people to identify housing options
and be; Educated to A level standard, with 5 GCSE A - C including Maths and English or equivalent.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills including giving complicated legal advice verbally and in writing.
Have negotiation and persuasion skills.
Have experience in working in a customer facing setting, preferably in an advice giving role
This is a fixed term contract for two years.
You may be required to provide a suitable vehicle in connection with the duties of this post.
To undertake the homeless out of hours function on a rota basis.
