This is an exciting opportunity to join our Research and Intelligence function, supporting the work of the Public Health directorate and wider Council. The post holder will play a key role in analysing data, interpreting and reporting on the results and providing advice and guidance on analysis.
They will develop and design health related datasets and information as appropriate to reflect the information needs of SMBC. They will also be required to support others in the production of analysis through training and supervision.
Candidates should have:
- Degree level or equivalent qualification, or experience of continued professional development
- Skills and experience in the analysis, interpretation and presentation of data, including knowledge of statistical methods
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to disseminate information via written reports and presentations
- An understanding of data security and protection issues
