This post may be suitable for graduates looking for experience of working in a school setting.

We are looking to appoint a bank of suitably qualified, motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors, to join our team.   Duties include overseeing whole classes during the short-term absence of class teachers, under the guidance of teaching staff.  To include the implementation of work programmes, managing student behaviour and assisting students in relevant activities in line with the school’s policies and procedures.


A good general educational background is essential as is an interest in working with young people aged 11-18.


Walton High School is an oversubscribed, high-achieving, science specialist school.   It is situated in a pleasant residential area on the edge of Cannock Chase and enjoys an excellent reputation.
