The Housing Occupational Therapy team support the assessment of customers with physical and/or mental health needs and recommend housing based solutions which maximise independence and promote wellbeing.

Hours:  37 per week

Salary:  Grade 6 

Location:  Harbour Buildings, Brierley Hill

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a housing or health/disability background to develop their skills in this unique team. The Housing Occupational Therapy (OT) Team provide a service to people with both physical and mental health need and this OT Assistant role includes completing assessments based on information provided, by phone with the customer and/or supporting professionals, thorough virtual or home visits.  Assessment of empty properties, attending viewings and assessing for provision of equipment and adaptations are an integral part of the role and you will be supported by and provide support for our Occupational Therapists as well as our Business Support Team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Housing and how individual solutions can meet health and disability needs to improve wellbeing and independence.
