Community Projects Leader

We are looking for a kind, caring, community minded individual to support, develop and deliver community projects here at Lyppard Hub

This unique and varied role requires someone who has the following skills and attributes:

• Has a passion and understanding for the importance of social support within the community settings
• Can effectively support individuals with relevant signposting and social support Has empathy, patience and a good listener
• Works calmly under pressure and can navigate changeable situations
• Can manage volunteers
• Understand development of support based on the needs of the community

Scope

The job of the Community Projects Leader is to regularly review and develop services based on need in our community.
There is further opportunity to create additional support services within this role. This would involve research and consultation, planning, funding and marketing; Working with the Hub management to ensure we meet our charitable aims.

Job role and duties

Essentially the role of the Community Projects Leader is to support attendees in which ever way possible through the delivered support service.
