Child Specific Learning Support Assistant

Term time only: 38 Weeks 
Fixed term contract initially for 1 year
Hours: 23 hours per week

Salary: £18,887.00 - £19,650.00 pro-rata per annum, dependent on experience.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Child Specific Learning Support Assistant to work in Reception as part of our dedicated Team. 

We are a very happy, positive and popular infant school situated just outside the centre of Shirley in Solihull.  Burman Infant School enjoys close partnerships with parents, neighbouring schools and the wider community.

Our aim is ‘to provide an exciting, broad range of experiences and opportunities to equip all our children with the skills, knowledge and attitudes to prepare them for their future lives’. 

We are looking for someone who:
•    Has experience in working with individuals with special educational needs and E.A.L
•    Is passionate and committed to working with young children
•    Has the ability to motivate, encourage and support learning effectively
•    Has competent organisational skills and shows initiative
•    Has a caring nature and the ability to engage children
