This is an exciting time to be working for Herefordshire Community Wellbeing.

That is why we are now seeking enthusiastic, creative, motivated and forward thinking Social Workers to join us. Based around the county in various locations, you will have immediate access to a wide range of knowledge and skills within established teams and plenty of opportunities for further professional training and development.

Social Workers have scope to practice alongside a variety of service user groups and a whole spectrum of people with health and social care needs, such as mental health, learning disability, physical disability, frailty and safeguarding.

If you are a qualified, Social Work England registered Social Worker, with relevant experience and a strong commitment to personalised and outcome focused practice, we are keen to welcome you.
Ideally you will bring a sound knowledge base about adult social work, strong interpersonal and organisational skills, a developed understanding of social care practice and legislation.

Newly qualified social workers:
Herefordshire’s adults and communities directorate runs a recognised mandated, approved and supported year of employment programme (ASYE), spaces are limited but we welcome applications from newly qualified social workers.
