Chief Financial Officer – Uttoxeter Learning Trust

Uttoxeter Learning Trust is currently comprised of eight academies, and has a new free school opening in September 2022 at Bramshall Meadows. The Trust has plans to expand further but currently includes First, Middle and High Schools, several of which are small, rural schools, including Church of England. This 3-18 all-through educational family supports each other to provide excellent teaching and learning, outstanding extra-curricular activities, excellent progress and attainment, and a friendly, safe and caring educational environment.
Due to our size and plans to grow we are seeking to appoint a full-time outstanding Chief Financial Officer with considerable senior experience in the education, commercial and/or public sector, with a successful track record of strategic management and leadership of the financial and commercial operations and performance of a complex multi-site organisation.
You will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer, and be an important member of the Trust Leadership Team. This is a rare and exciting opportunity in our Trust and we hope that you will share our enthusiasm for the challenges ahead. The successful candidate will enjoy high levels of job satisfaction as they will play a fundamental role in leading the management of resources which support our students to learn and achieve.
We welcome suitably experienced and interested applicants to complete a full application and submit the form by emailing pa2ceo@uttlt.com. Please submit the Uttoxeter Learning Trust Application form which includes your personal statement saying in no more than two sides of A4 why you think you are the person we need, and providing verifiable evidence of your experience, skills, abilities and knowledge in relation to the person specification, and how you would contribute to the development of the Trust going forward. All applications will be acknowledged on receipt.

Closing date for applications: 16 September 2022 at 12 noon
Interviews and assessment activities are planned to take place on 28 September 2022 (full day)
