Job title: SEND Keyworker

Salary:  Grade 7 £23,953 - £27,514 per annum

Working hours & Contract type: 37 Hours per week | Full time |Part Time  Permanent | Flexible working – we’re happy to discuss options with you

Locations:  

South Staffs x 1 full time permanent
Stafford x 1 full time permanent

Stafford x 1 full time 12 months temporary
Moorlands x 1 full time permanent

East Staffs x1 part time permanent
Lichfield x 1 part time permanent

Our role

We’re looking for several passionate and motivated individuals to join our newly transformed district teams.  

As a SEND keyworker, you will be supporting the Family Practitioner Leads to carry out the Local Authority’s SEND duties in relation to co-ordinating EHC Assessments, producing EHC Plans and carrying out annual reviews.  You will work closely with our children and young people with special educational needs and disability and their families as well as a range of qualified professionals in education, health and social care. By developing collaborative and respectful relationships, you’ll promote choice and independence and improve outcomes.

You will ensure that education, health, and care plans comply with legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements in addition to the policies, standards and procedures of the authority.

What we’ll need from you

It’s a fast-paced role so you’ll need to be able to manage your own caseload independently and as part of the team.  You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as knowledge of the SEND legislation plus, it’s important that you can reflect on practice and improve as a result.
