Head of Human Resources for KMAT

Salary £37,568 to £43,570 per annum

Band Point M.28 – O.34

Kenilworth Multi-Academy Trust (KMAT) is a growing organisation and is currently made up of two schools, with an expectation to include further schools in the future.

As a consequence of the developing KMAT, we are seeking to appoint a Head of Human Resources.  This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, forward-looking professional to establish and develop this new role.

This is a senior appointment to provide leadership and management of KMAT’s HR operations. We are looking for a forward-looking professional with significant strategic HR expertise, to provide a vision and deliver a high level of service across the KMAT.  Ideally you will have a familiarity in education or another sector.

The Role

To provide strategic and technical leadership of KMAT’s HR operations in accordance with the ‘7 Nolan Principles of Public Life’, ensuring the overall HR management of the Trust and its academies is effective, and sustainable.

The post-holder will lead, manage and drive consistent HR services across all academies and is accountable to the Accounting Officer/Executive Head of the Trust.

To contribute fully as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team to the development of the Trust’s strategy across all areas of the business, bringing a holistic viewpoint to discussions and facilitating decision making, as appropriate.

For an informal discussion on the role, please contact Hayden Abbott, Executive Headteacher by email at H.Abbott@ksn.org.uk.

Further information is available at https://www.ksn.org.uk/723/vacancies where you can download a job description with the person specification. The salary range spans three pay bands to allow for the expansion of the KMAT and possible inclusion of schools with no HR leads professionals.

Application and equal opportunities forms are also available to download and should be emailed to Hayden Abbott, Executive Headteacher at H.Abbott@ksn.org.uk

Closing date:  Tuesday, 30 August 2022 at 9am.

Interview date:  Tuesday, 6 September 2022.

Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  An enhanced DBS check will be undertaken.
