About Us and the Role


Business and Customer Support are looking for a Business Support Officer to join the service to support ICT Purchasing.


You will be working in a fast paced, busy environment managing conflicting demands and will need to manage change at short notice.


If you have excellent communication skills, are self-motivated, thrive at problem solving and enjoy working independently or as part of a team this role could be for you.


These are some of the tasks that you will be working on:


  • Dealing with internal customers who visit the ICT Hub, who might need to borrow equipment, have an appointment with an engineer, leavers dropping off equipment or just general queries
  • Arranging appointments for ICT equipment collection
  • Raising orders using Agresso our financial system
  • Processing warranty calls 
  • Purchasing ICT equipment 


Previous experience of ICT Purchasing is not required training will be provided to develop your knowledge of ICT equipment.


This post will be based in Shire Hall, Warwick, there will be a requirement for you to work in the office 2 - 3 days per week, this is subject to change depending on service needs.   


There can be some flexibility on the working hours and home working can be utilised around the needs of the business when there is no requirement for you to work in the office.
