Governor Clerk needed in Wolverhampton & surrounding area – home working and visits to a number of locations
Post: Governors’ Clerk
(25 hours per week, Term Time only, Paid Weeks 44.67)
Salary: £21,420 FTE (Actual Salary £12,432)
We are looking for a Governor’s Clerk to be part of our dedicated team, working across the Midlands. You will provide tailored services to ensure that bespoke support is provided at a consistent high-quality level.
For a Board to function effectively it is vital that their meetings are efficiently called and clerked, and that action is taken promptly upon all decisions and resolutions. You will have the support of a Governor Services Team which has a wealth of knowledge and specialists to support Governing Boards, making a valuable contribution to the preparation of meetings and the follow-up work and providing advice and guidance on all governance matters.
This post would ideally suit someone who is well organised, has strong administrative skills, is a good communicator and who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience of minute taking and/or knowledge of governance would be an advantage but is not essential.
Full training and support will be provided. Flexible working patterns are essential. Working hours are variable throughout the week and may include early mornings, afternoons and evenings. A full clean driving license and own vehicle are also essential as meetings will be held in different locations.
