Develop the portfolio that builds a city of flourishing neighbourhoods. Your focus will be on managing the Property Development Business Centre, working across a range of property-based development and regeneration projects. Your role will also involve giving valuation advice. As well as managing the Business Centre’s employees and resources, we’ll expect you to grow strong working relationships with public and private sector partners. It’s your opportunity to help shape the Council’s property portfolio strategy and build better lives for everyone.

If your strengths include the ability to manage people, programmes and budgets, you have the potential to succeed in this role. We’re looking for a self-motivated team player, with strong negotiating and influencing skills and the ability to mediate with partner organisations. Ideally, you can also co-ordinate and process complex workloads within policy or strategy frameworks to make the best use of resources. RICS membership is essential too.
