If you could transform a great city, how would you do it?

Birmingham is a city on the move. Join our Property Services team and you can aim higher too.  We’re a city with a vision. For our communities. For our people. For the future. Opportunity doesn’t wait. And neither do we. We’re building the Birmingham of tomorrow, using the largest property portfolio of its kind. Together, we can change millions of lives for the better.

We offer scope for your expertise across a range of major development and regeneration projects. We’ll look to you to ensure we get the most out of our land and property portfolio.  Your focus will be on providing specialist advice and input to strategy and decision-making. You can expect to manage complex, high-level casework that will help shape our future city.

Experience of managing projects, programmes, people and resources will ensure your success. Ready to work with key players in the property sector, you bring excellent negotiation and influencing skills. You have experience of monitoring performance, finances and budgets, and know how to coordinate complex workloads. The ability to lead, manage and motivate teams is also essential.  You must be a RICS-qualified surveyor.

Thrive in an environment that promotes diversity and inclusivity, healthy lifestyle choices, wellbeing and balance. We’ll empower you to be the best you can be, with coaching, mentoring and training programmes that meet your professional and personal development needs at every stage of your career with us.

We also offer:

  • Family friendly policies.
  • A range of benefits, including membership of the West Midlands Pension Fund, discounted gym membership and a confidential employee assistance programme.
  • 29 days’ annual leave increasing with length of service, plus the option to purchase additional days.

You must upload a CV and Supporting Statement via the miscellaneous attachment on to your application. This is required for shortlisting; you need to describe how your experience and skills fit the essential criteria for the role as specified in the Person Specification. If you do not attach your Supporting Statement, your application will not be considered.

Closing date 30 October - 12 Noon - Applications will be shortlisted weekly
