Commissioning Team - Adult Care & Support

During the COVID-19 pandemic the Commissioning Team has faced its biggest challenges whilst working on the front line with the care sector in Solihull. As we now learn to live with COVID-19 the Commissioning Team remains ambitious by driving forward our transformational approach and working closely with providers, bringing new ideas and responses to the fore and ensuring we have the right range of innovative services to meet the changing needs of the people of Solihull.

As a Senior Commissioning Officer, you will review, plan and design services. You will proactively work with providers of Social Care Services, developing relationships that will ensure performance compliance to deliver the service specification and Council contract and promote delivery of safe high-quality services across the whole of the care and support sector. You will be involved in research and engage and deliver commissioning projects within agreed parameters of quality, timescale and budget supporting performance activity of the local provider market in line with defined outcomes.
