Senior ICT Technician

Scale 5, SCP 12-17, £22,571 - £24,920 dependent on experience

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Hanley and Upton Educational Trust (HUET) is looking to recruit a full time all year-round Senior IT Technician to assist with the maintenance of the HUET ICT Network and equipment. The role will support the IT Systems Manager in delivering technical support to all users in the schools, and assist in both maintenance of existing equipment and installation of new hardware and software across the network. The role will also involve supporting and providing the application and development of IT technology within an educational environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a friendly team whose work is greatly valued across the HUET.

The successful candidate will have experience in a customer service ICT role, have strong technical skills including Microsoft products and experience of computer networks installation and maintenance.

The post will be primarily based at Hanley Castle High School but will occasionally include travel to, and work within, the different school locations within the area (Hanley Swan Primary, Kempsey Primary and Welland Primary). Transport is therefore essential. The Trust will reimburse you for any mileage incurred over and above that related to travelling to your normal place of work which is Hanley Castle.
