We are looking to recruit a Junior Accountancy Assistant to join a busy and friendly team providing accountancy support to a number of Directorates, including Children’s Services and Adult Social Care.

This is a full-time permanent role at Grade 5 (£20,444 to £22,129).

You will have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s Grade C or above including Maths and English, or equivalent, and you will be willing to study for the AAT qualification.

You will be able to use PC based information technology and have a good working knowledge of spreadsheets, preferably Excel. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic to learn and can demonstrate good verbal, numerical and communication skills.

You will be working flexibly in our offices in central Dudley or from home and will benefit from the Council’s flexitime scheme.
