About us and the role
Warwickshire County Council’s Adult and Community Learning Service is a dynamic, forward-looking adult education service, judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted. We provide a wide range of adult learning courses across the county. Our county-wide programme for people with learning disabilities and/or learning difficulties is expanding and we are looking for two Learning Support Assistants to join our experienced and friendly team.
This is a permanent, term time only post (36 weeks) for 10 hours per week over three days. Your base office will be Camp Hill Early Years Centre in Nuneaton.
Key Requirements
You will have had experience of working with people with learning disabilities and/or learning difficulties. Working under the direction of a tutor, in a range of classes, you will have excellent communication skills, patience and a flexible approach to your work. You must be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and to supporting the rights and aspirations of under-represented groups
