Corporate Support Officer
We have 12 month fixed term opportunity for a Corporate Support Officer in the Business Support team. You’ll provide a range of administrative support to your immediate team and wider WMCA colleagues.
Alongside routine daily tasks, you’ll need to be reactive to things that arise unexpectedly, be happy to get involved as needed and provide a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Interviews will be held on 17 and 19 August
What will you be doing?
- Work within the Corporate Support Team to deliver outstanding administrative support services
- Complete administrative tasks ensuring the needs of the WMCA are met
- Assist with specific projects involving research and liaison with staff of other departments/organisations within the WMCA
- Ensure office supplies are monitored and ordered as required to maintain supply and demands of the business
- Be an active member of the WMCA Corporate Support Team. Providing a high standard of customer service to stakeholders and staff
- Provide general administration support to core functions within the WMCA including but not exclusive to, collecting visitors, completing mail merges, assisting in general issues
We’re looking for someone with good customer service skills, has good administration experience, can react to situations in a positive way and can provide support to a wide variety of people and tasks.
It's a busy role and requires you to be flexible and be comfortable working in a busy role where you'll have daily tasks but also be able to react to situations as they arise. You'll have a good understanding how to meet the needs of your customers and provide support to your immediate team and across the WMCA.
