This is a fixed term contract until 24th July 2024.
The Project Search Employment Coach will provide daily job coaching support to interns with a learning disability/difficulty or autism within DPD delivery company based in Sandwell. You will also be required to support interns so they arrive at the business on time, ready for their placement and provide classroom support during taught lessons.
In addition to support within the business, you will provide progression coaching and job development activities to maximise opportunities for the interns to progress into paid employment after they have completed their internship programme, either within the business or within other businesses or organisations in the local area.
You will be required to work closely with the tutor from Westminster School to establish good working relationships.
Applicants will have:
- Level 2 Maths and English (or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with people with learning disabilities/difficulties and/or autism.
- Experience of supporting people with disabilities into work placement, voluntary work or employment.
- Experience of working with employers

37 hours per week
