In this role you will be joining a team dedicated to delivering high quality walking and cycling infrastructure where you can expect to have a varied, challenging and rewarding workload. You will lead the development of projects in our ambitious and growing programme of funded cycling infrastructure schemes. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of transport policies including the completion of a new Active Travel Strategy and Warwickshire’s first Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan which sets out our ambitious plans to make walking and cycling the natural choices for shorter journeys and outdoor recreation.

As you will be working with and alongside a wide range of internal and external colleagues, partners and clients, you will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and be used to providing technical information to varied audiences.
