Warwickshire County Council are inviting applications for 2 full time permanent Commissioner vacancies within the Strategy and Commissioning Business Unit working in the following teams:

  • Lifestyle and Prevention  
  • Vulnerable People

 

 

Working alongside fantastic and well-established commissioning teams holding portfolio responsibility for:  

 

  • Lifestyle and Prevention Adult Mental Health Services Commissioner:  Due to promotion we have an opportunity for someone who is interested and committed to improving access to and outcomes for people affected by Mental Health. We have recently commissioned an innovative Collaborative Partnership of Mental Health providers who are working together make changes to the way these community-based adult services are delivered. In addition to this you will be working with a range of Stakeholders to align pathways and join up our offers across Coventry and Warwickshire.  A key element of this will be to develop further the pathways for 18 - 25-year-olds.  If you wish to discuss the Mental Health Commissioner role further, please contact Etty Martin ettymartin@warwickshire.gov.uk

 

 

  • Vulnerable People –Drug and Alcohol Commissioner – This role is focused on the commissioning of both adults and children/ young people’s drug and alcohol services. The role will require the successful candidate to work collaboratively with a range of statutory and third sector organisations and be instrumental in developing the newly formed Warwickshire Drug and Alcohol Strategic Partnership and leading the commissioning elements associated with delivering the requirements of the new National Drug Strategy.
