Care Home Contract Officer -   Commercial Team, Corporate Directorate  

Salary:  £21,269 – 23,953 per annum (pro rata)

 22.5 Hours per week – Permanent  

These hours will be split either over 5 days, Monday to Friday or Wednesday to Friday.

Location: Based in Stafford but remote working is very much an option with prearranged attendance to Stafford Office.

Staffordshire County Council’s Commercial Team is supporting the Council to select, award and manage contracts for the supply of goods, services and works.

About the role

Following an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Care Home Contracts Team to support the team in all aspects of Contract Management, including evaluation of new providers wishing to become contracted with the Council for the supply of residential and nursing home services.  You will be responsible for creating financial records and resolving a wide range of contractual queries from internal and external sources and therefore excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal will be required.

The Care Home Contract Officer will be part of a hardworking but supportive team and will be expected to work with minimal supervision.  Full training and support will be available to the successful candidate.
